Coffee Tipsy Beauty and Massage is taking all required precautions to protect you and the business from coronovirus. You will be asked prior to your appointment if you have/or have had coronavirus sympotoms and other questions. On arrival you will be required to fill out a form answering similar questions again and signing your name. It is the client’s responsibility to be honest with Coffee Tipsy Beauty and Massage and let them know if they have been in contact with covid-19, if their workplace has had outbreaks, or if other people that they are living with have/or were experiencing symptoms.

When arriving for your appointment please be wearing a face covering before entering the salon. If a mobile appointment, then please be wearing a face covering before I enter your home. 

Discount Codes

Your email subscription code is redeemable for 6 months from the day of subscription. Your code can only be used once. Can be used on multiple items in the same basket. You can use this code in my Etsy shop or with me in person on any of my beauty and massage treatments. Can be used on as many treatments as you like as long as you have them all at the same time. To use on my Etsy shop just enter at checkout. To use in person just quote the code on booking. The discount code can only be used in the above ways stated in this paragraph. I will let you know a few days before your code expires via email. Non-transferrable and no cash alternative.

Appropriate Behaviour Policy

Before reading my other policies please bear in mind that Coffee Tipsy has the right to refuse any treatment without explanation. This has been put in place to protect the business and myself. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and will be reported. If I experience behaviour of this manner I will NOT continue the treatment and you will NOT be booked in the future. If you have already paid or part paid for your treatment and I’ve asked you to leave, you will NOT be entitled to a refund.


At your first treatment you will fill out a form and be asked to reevaluate this form for changes at every treatment you have with me. This is to check that you are healthy enough to have the treatment.

A contraindication is a health reason that may NOT allow me to continue with treatment. Depending on the contraindication I may be able to offer an alternative treatment or re book for another time. On occasion the contraindication may involve getting your GP’s consent , when you have proof of this consent we can re book you for the future. On some occasions you may not be able to have the treatment at all and I will use my professional training to explain why.


I have a mobile service where I come to you in your own home. (See treatment menu for what treatments are available). So as long as your disability isn’t a known contraindication to treatments then we can continue with treatment in the comfort of your own surroundings.

Minor’s Policy

For the time being I only treat adults of 18 years and over.

Pregnancy Policy

I am happy to treat you if the treatment you would like is appropriate. Most treatments are safe to have during your 2nd and 3rd trimesters and we can discuss suitability prior to booking your treatment. 


Cancellations happen and here at Coffee Tipsy I like to be understanding that life can get in the way sometimes. Please take some time to read this cancellation policy when booking a treatment:

If for whatever reason you need to cancel then please make your best efforts to notify me at least 24 hours prior to your treatment, a valid reason would be appreciated but don’t worry if it is a personal matter. 

If you have to cancel twice in a row without a valid reason then I will have to charge you for a partial cost of your requested treatment, (unless a deposit has been taken) this is to cover time lost and the space that could have been given to another client. This will need to be paid on the day of cancellation via a payment link sent through SMS or email using the IZettle payment system.

If I have to cancel for whatever reason and you are understanding I will give you 10% off of your treatment to say thank you for your patience and accepting my apology.

I think this is a fair trade and I hope nobody ever has to cancel because it’s not fun for either parties. Wishing you well, healthy and happy lives.

Cancellations for pamper parties and nail parties:

If you have booked a party, paid your deposits and need to cancel within 2 weeks of the booking your deposit will NOT be refunded. This is because the parties take up a vast amount of booking space and these spaces are limited. Parties need to be booked in advance to ensure the customer gets their desired date. Please be mindful that other customers may be requesting the same dates as you, so if you aren’t completely committed, please give more than 2 weeks notice to cancel.


If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment in the salon then I may n ot be able to carry out your treatment that day. I will try and reschedule for the next best time for you but please understand, if you are late then I may not be able to accomodate you due to other bookings.

On a mobile basis, I rely on public transport so I give estimated arrival times, these are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstance, e.g delays, traffic. I will always keep you updated as much as possible and will let you know if I’m going to be late and by how long. 

If you find yourself running late on the day of your treatment, then please let me know as soon as possible. The treatments are booked so there’s enough time for you to enjoy your treatments without rushing in and out and lateness can affect this and therefore the experience itself. At busy times we may have to cancel your treatment and reschedule for as soon as is suitable, but I will try my best to keep your appointment to the same time and space, dependent on the level of lateness/unforeseen circumstances)


I take deposits for some bookings and pamper parties, this secures the appointment time for you, (click here pamper party tab for more details).

During the busy time of November and December I will be taking £5 per every hour of approximate treatment time. E.g if you are having gel extensions, this is a 2 hours treatment so I would take a £10 deposit. This deposit is transferable ONCE, but if cancelling twice you will lose this deposit and have to pay again to secure a treatment space. 

When you have booked an appointment with me I will send you a payment link via IZettle/Paypal by text or email. Please follow the link and instructions to pay your deposit. As soon as I have received the deposit I will send you a confirmation email. Please pay deposits promptly (witihin 3 hours) or you may lose your appointment space.

Your deposit is non-refundable but transferable once, should you need to cancel for whatever reason. If you need to cancel twice in a row you will lose your deposit and need to put down a new deposit if you want to book again.
